a box for 4 10's
yea i know i could go to the store and make my own, i was just looking for and pics/suggestions on any quad boxes other than the typical horizontal or staggerd setup, or anything that anybody has done thats custom to the scion.
Check out the link below. Its a custom fiberglass install with 4 12's. Very nice! You could do the same with 10's. Just be ready to break out the bondo and fiberglass!

PEACE
Depends on what you want.
If you want something removable, the design is going to be different then if you want something perma-mounted to the car. Also, are you looking for something that sounds good, looks good or does both?
If you are just interested in boom, go down to your local swap-meet, or flea market, and pick up a box for 4 tens. Take it home and seal it (a good caulk will do), mount the subs and call it a day. This is not the best way but it is cheap and easy.
If you are looking for a better sound then you are going to have to do some math. Find the specs on the sub and figure out the air space needed, per sub, for the frequency you want to reproduce the most. Now you have to build 4 seperate chambers and then use cover plates to make them look like one display.
There are also bandpass boxes, ported boxes, etc, that will all make great sound but will take a lot more design work. Sealed enclosures are the easiest to design though and usually the quickest to build.

One thing to note, you'll get better sound with the speakers pointed up (or, even better, at a slight upward angle towards the back).
You should also get less rattles out of the hatch as the fill force of the speakers isn't being pushed straight into the hatch door.
