calling all envy green xb owners need your help
if your having the monitor trouble alot of us are .please call scion email scion get them to fix it for us with the up graded part.for like people with after market head unit that cant get it fix with out puting the old one back in and wasting money if they cant do it them self. if we get enuff calls and email they have to fix something. thnx to scionlife and all you people for all the help i def have got on this site since i got my xb
what monitor trouble? Can you be a little more specific and describe what the issue is so that people can identify if they are having the same problem? Do they monitors flicker on and off, do the colors get burned, issue with the headphones??? details please.
have you checjked the power connections under the passenger seat? thanks for the info though. i don't use them that often, but i will do a full check on them tonight, and make sure they work 100%

there is a video converter behind the glovebox. its from TMI and its faulty. just take it to have it fixed. there was a bulliten sent to the dealerships to fix them if they have problems. if you have any questions PM me.

well i took it to them they said cant do anything because of after market head unit.i know whatz wrong they want me to take out my head unit and put the other one in and parts on back or like a month.iposted this same trouble like 3 months ago just want people to call scion write scion to make a upgrade to the one part that's broken.hey they make 2500 and there 1000 having trouble the more the quarter broke they need to just take the old one out and not make people do all types of stuff for a brokeing part.
I remember your thread from a while back. But Ive never had the problem......But then again I dont use them too much. It might just be less of a hassle to replace the monitors with aftermarket ones. Especially if the dealership is gonna give you crap
i payed for them i want them to work just to much ____ to do if they know that there is stuff wrong just fix it.recall the one part im sure everyone has.trouble down the line hey they make a ____ty wire harness that overload the av box thats on them.
Trust me I understand. But you know how they are. If they can save a penny and blame YOU for the problem they will. Theres quite a few RS3s around here. Ill ask and see if anyone else has had the problem.
yeah a guy around here called scion strait. they told him they only offered an rs1. anyways he finally got someone who knew what was going on. they called his dealership. he took it to his dealer and they found out its a box behind the glovebox. its from TMI and i think a new one from them is like $129. but the dealers around here in DFW got a bulliten about it so if the screens have problems to replace the part. i just went to the same dealer he did and they got the part in about a week. so i would, if possible, try another dealership. i had to drive about an hour out of my way.
My xB is doing the same thing mine is going to the dealership tommorow to get it fixed. ill let u know what part is causing the problem tommorow.

FIRST THEY DONT EVEN WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU IF U HAVE A SCION WITH AFTERMARKET PARTS ON IT. AND IF THEY DO THEY MESS WITH ALL OF YOUR EQUIPMENT THAT U WORKED HARD FOR AND MESS IT UP. IF THEY SEE U HAVE PERFORMANCE PARTS ON YOUR CAR THEY'LL TAKE IT ON TEST DRIVES AND POUND THE CAR LIKE IT'S MADE FOR RACING.
