I would think that you could if you had some basic woodworking skills and tools.

Funny you mentioned that, Ted, I happen to know a guy who is about to list a classified for that very item.

Back to topic, you will have great difficulty getting any decent cubic footage out of a wooden one, so you will need a sub designed for small enclosures, but you can build one with basic power tools. I built one and rocked it for a while.

 

Did it sound allright? Sorry but there is no chance I would ever spend anything close to $250 for a box, for that price I'll keep rocking the truck box. I know I can make the thing, and I have the tools, but I wanted to see if there were any small things I should pay attention to, or notes on how to achieve the proper cubic footage. Thanks though.

 

I have that same box that was made by Elegonics/Quarterwave when they were still around

I run a 10"RF P2 in it hits plenty good for me

i got a custom sealed box made for 2 10's to fit the trunk area and the hit like i had 2 12's..running memphis audio 10 inch subs......
