This winter, I am planning on doing a carputer setup in my tC. I am going to put the screen where the stock headunit currently is.
My question is, can I run an input to the computer to receive FM radio? I know I will be able to have all of my mp3's on my carputer hard drive, but if I want to flip on the radio for some reason, I would like to be able to do that.
It isn't a big deal to have the radio, it would just be nice to have the option.

though w/a carputer; it'd be easier to give the carputers audio outs to a headunit w/inputs... no need for an extra amp just to run the carputer... dontu think?
easier connection to the stock speakers.. and you still have an amp and sub + a good headunit has sub control

my setup that i just started, i'm putting a new Sony HU in the oven (got it for 110$ shipped after rebates!) and a 7" touch where the stock HU was. It's the easest way. That way, if the computer goes down, i have a CD/MP3/WMA FM as a backup
