Default Car Alarm Recommendation

I need something simple. i dont need an engine starter i just need the following

Motion alarm
automatic door lock with motion
keyless entry
flash lights/horn when on or off

It would be nice if it unlocked all the doors when I turn off the ignition

Oh, and I would like to continue to use my existing keychain remote (or something comparable in shape/complexity)

Any recommendations?

well i got a suggestion it is just a matter of if you want to spend the money for it and have it installed. There is a car security company called VIPER and they make some kick @$$ alarms. The one I would suggest in particular costs $300 not installed but it has a small screen on the remote with a car skeleton but it monitors your hood, trunk, doors, motion in the car, and glass. It is a little overkill probably for an bB unless you have that sucker decked out. But that is the higher up model you can get their cheap one for like $150 which locks the doors has a motion sensor honking horns and lights. That might be the one up your alley.

If u know how to install one, u can get the Viper 791xv for 200 bucks. It has the remote start so its probably overkill, but it does everything that u mentioned. Im running it in my car, and I love it

i've been installing viper (DEI) products for about 5yrs now and only a few other manufacturers have the same quality. I have the Clifford Matrix 3.5 which is IDENTICAL to the Viper 791xv in everyway. ALL my cars (and family) sport either the Viper or Clifford systems.

I got that Clifford too, bad ****.

DEI is at the forefront of alarms along with Autopage. Check out DEI.com and you'll see that they make many popular brands.

I've got the Viper 791 XV and I have no complaints. I've never had a problem with any Viper system I've owned.

I picked up a viper 350.

My man Achow lives on the other side of the bay. Anyone know of an installer on the east bay (oakland) that I can trust.

Can anyone please recommend a reputable shop that sells and installs car alarms in the east bay? Thanks in advance.

code alarm sucks, DEI is the way to go, you'll probably have to pay extra for the motion sensor, in my opinion its probably not worth it, unless u like it falsing out all the time
