Default Cargo Net Lower Attachment

So, I bought the cargo net for my xB. I was hoping it would actually keep things from falling out of my car, but there is no place for the bottom to attach. I would think that things would be able to just roll out under the net, which isn't really very useful.

My van has a cargo net that attaches on all four corners. Has anyone come up with a clever way to connect all four corners without permanently marring the rear compartment area?

If you remove the rear storage bin and spare tire there is a loop on each side in the floor. I always wondered why they were under everything. The cargo net may be the reason.

Thanks.

I'll have to check that out. The "instructions" (if you could call them that) that came with the net didn't really show anything being attached to the bottom.

Well, I found a pretty good solution (At least I think it works well)

I bought a spring curtain rod, painted it flat black and put it in the base of the net pushing against the sides of the cargo area down at the carpet level. I had to go behind the nylon pocket, so that side doesn't really have any lower support, but the rest of it does. The only down side to this approach is that the bottom of the net is an inch or two away from the back of the car. If the net anlged back to the back edge, I'd have more volume behind the net, but it's not terrible. Plus, I can put stuff in the net and there si still room for it to bulge out on the door side without getting in the way.
