There is a factory Toyota show xB that shows up every now and then at the bigger shows. Its also in the latest Scion brochure in the dealerships. If you go to shows at all Im sure you've seen it somewhere. Anyway, that car has all the carpet on the floorpan removed, they re-ran the wiring harness that runs down the middle, and they painted all the shift linkage to match the floor. I think it looks amazing! I was wondering if any normal people where money and time are issues have done anything like this. Toyota can do anything they want but can the normal owner pull this off??? Pics if possible would be nice or a quick how-to with difficulty rating...

 

are you talking about the xbturner it i blue and silver. if so i have that on my wall at work. i would take out the carpet in mine but scion did a crapy job of painting on my box. plus think of all the road noise

 

Yeah thats exactly the one Im talking about. Road noise??? Honestly, if Im willing to rip out carpet do you think I give a crap about that? I dont have airbags anymore because of my racing seats. Im pretty sure road noise is the least of my concerns....
