I was wondering if anybody has tried to put Celica gts seats into a tc. My buddy has one and he took me for a ride the other nite and they are comfortable as hell. They look just like recaro racing seats. I was hoping that mounting wouldnt be a problem since they are both toyota but I dont know.

I think they would fit. but i like the tc seats. good on a long drive

look at your friends brackets....then look at yours...and compare. or check an aftermarket seat and see if its available to fit in both of our cars. it might be pretty rare that someone found a set of spare celica seats and installed them in a scion. its a good idea. check it out. do a lil research, get it done, and be unique. i haven't foung anything on it yet but i'll keep looking too and see if i find something(i have nothing else to do during my class...i'm a teacher's aid. yippee.)

yeah.. i was thinking of doing the same thing after i sat in a gts.. but i haven't really checked about the bracket situation... we'll just have to see.

hmm... are you getting them becuase they hold you or becuase they are comfortable?! becuase the GT-S seats arent very bolstered.

my Celica friend also suggested me to do this. Since GTS Leather Seats looks more cleaner than a aftermarket leather wrap seat.

i was thinkin the exact same thing..except doesnt necessarily hafta be gts. my friend has an absolutely red celica gt and has the red cloth bucket seats for it and i think that'd look sooo sexy in my RS1

not a bad idea, but I gotta say that after owning both of the cars, I like the tC seats alot better.. more support and comfort..

i had a 2000 Celi Gt and perfer the tC seat for comfort but like the look of the celica seats better.

But still, those are real Recaros and look pretty damn good. I bet they hold even better. Since the Caldina and the tC seem pretty related, what are the chances the seat brackets are from the same parts bin?

I like those seats. Hopefully I will be able to move to Japan in a year. If I do, I am going to start my own small little export business. Just go to junkyards and all and mail back small JDM type of parts. Even some seats would be possible.

But first I need to get the wife to want to move to japan instead of germany.
