Default Center Cubby help....

...I know..it's probably a dumb question, but I've seen a lot of mods done to the center dash cubby and still use the door cover. I installed a Soundstream dvd player and I can't figure out how the cover can fit back, the player can only go so far in before contacting the a/c vent behind and it still sticks out just a few cm that the cover won't fully close....HELP

I have not done this myself, but i think you will have to cut the rear part of the cubby out for it to make the door close. That is why i didn't do mine this way cause for a later change i would have to buy a new cubby for it to be used for antthing else.
