Default CF Dashkit Installation

I just got my CF Dashkit in the mail. I never have used one of htese before. All the pieces came on this big sheet of sticky paper. I assume I have to clean my dash with alcohol then do the CF pieces just peel off and stick on? I noticed I also received these 2 crayon looking things which I think I need to do something with to attach the CF pieces to my dash. Any help would be appriciated.

iunno what the crayon things are but yea, you clean with alcohol and the pieces would stick on. it should've came with a sort of towelette thing with the alcohol already on it, i know most kits do come with this. if not, just use some alcohol, becareful with it though because it might discolor your dash, try to get only the areas that it will stick to with the alcohol.

those crayon things are the cleaning swabs.

bend them till you hear something inside them crack (like a glow stick. )
that releases the alcohol. use them to clean the area.

you may also want to heat the peices to make them more flexable...

So I should clean the dash with the alcohol swabs. Then break those little crayon things and clean the area again right before I stick the CF onto the dash and smooth it out then??????

The crayon piecesare to be used on rounded areas so the adhesion is better promoted. I used min on the bottom of the dash where the long pieces cover the silver trim. They stuck great.

ahh.. that makes sense now, thought they had to come with them.... use a blow dryer to make the pieces flexible.

When I use the crayon pieces do I let it dry or do I apply the CF immediately after I use the crayon pieces?

I received my my carbon fiber piece for the storage door. Does anyone have any advice on what adhesive would be BEST to use, to slap the carbon fiber piece to the xb storage door? Any advice of the best adhesive would be appreciated. I know 3M makes some, but I need to find a place where I can buy the automotive adhesive kind. Help
