i changed the color of my A/C controls but they arnt very bright. i went to autozone and got the smallest ones they had but they are really big for the light in the dash. does anyone know where i can get smaller ones?

It'd help if you say what you changed. You changed the color in you A/C controls... yeah, yeah, I know.

Did you change the bulb itself or get a cover? From the sounds of it, you got a cover for the bulb itself. Your best bet is to get a new bulb for the controls. Search the FAQs and Tech area to find out how.

I know there's a debate on whether 74's will work. You have to do a slight mod, I think. But do a search... the topic's been talked about.

Was it a green package or red? I believe green is 'long life,' those are dimmer. Usually, they'll have "LL" in the part number.

You might want to go with some of those ricy blue-tinted hyperwhite lights.

Or if that's not bright enough, get some PIAA bulbs.

 

You cannot get PIAA dash lights.
