Default Changing the dash lights (not under the dash!)

Okay, I've been through the boards and nothing real concrete has come up. I'm waiting to get underdash lights and such installed in my xB, but I've been driving around at night and thinking that the stock amber lighting throughout the dash and stereo has to go. Everyone I've seen wants blue, I want red, but that's not important. The question is, how do I get it down without ripping apart my dash?

Any other pointers on more lighting that I could change to red (like the overhead, for instance) and how to do it would be greatly appreciated. I'm more capable of "change the bulb" kind of things that "figure out what size resistor you need."

As far as the Clock and Speedometer Amber lighting is concerned...I think No-one has changed that because that would be considered tampering with the Speedometer...Anyone back me up on this one?? :D :D

Hope this helps! :D

its not tampering since the odometer is stored in the computer, not in the read out. There are 4 orange leds behind the clock/odometer. If you are really good at soldering, you could unsolder the leds and replace them with some cell phone leds from ebay.
