Default coin drawer modification for xB lower dashboard?

There is a place on the lower dash between the steering wheel and the door. Is it a place to put a garage door opener? It looks like a great place to put a coin drawer. Does anyone know of someone that has done this successfully and tastefully?

I got a standard 3 spring coin box (0.25, 0.10, 0.05) from PepBoys I think for $3, that slides in perfectly to the opening above the computer input on the left below the steering wheel. It's black and has a back piece that can be attached but I didn't use it since the box wedges in perfectly. And it slides out with just a little bit of effort in case I still need to get to that opening.

Reading back over what I just typed it looks like gibberish but I'm not sure how else to phrase it. I'll see if I can take some pics and post 'em.

It's a cheap mod that looks like a stock upgrade.

Thanks for the consideration and the solution you came up with. I am going to Pep Boys and look for the spring coin box. Thanks again.

If you had the Boomerang armrest, you wouldn't need that "cheap" Pep Boys coin holder, cause it already has a coin holder in it...
