Default comparing deadening materials

So....dynamat and edead.
what are your guy's thoughts on the two??
i've usually been a fan of dynamat, but it's expensive.
edead seems to be a tad cheaper, but i don't want to get something that's not as good when it's only a little bit cheaper.

Dynamat is always the last option on my list when it comes to finding a decent sound deadening material. My reasoning, it's the most common name out there for deadening. Usually, once a name is out, the quality takes a hit and rides on the curtails of name alone. I've found Dynamat is very much following suit.

Me, I used Hushmat. Much beefier than what I found in Dynamat for the same price. However, they have lately lowered the thickness of their high quality deadening to be on par with what you find in Dynamat (still cheaper though).

RAAMAT has a pretty good product. I would prefer the BXT II sheets over the BXT roll for the better thickness. It would cost almost twice as much with BXT II vs BXT though.

If I had to do everything deadening all over again, my first choice at this time would be SecondSkin (using Damplifier Pro).

i do like them dynamat...
but as for price wise...i can get a bxt roll of 62 feet for about 110 bucks.
the dynamat 36 sq ft one is still more than the equivalent of bxt II.
so i think raammat is going to be my choice this time.

thanks guys for the help :D
