i dont think there are many other options, as it is your odo display as well. best you could do is to swap out the LEDs and have it light up some other color than amber..
you could always put a piece of electric tape over the lcd and use another clock entirely..

what the hell do you want from it? its a LCD clock, same as high end digital watches, same as happy meal watches. take it out and put a rolex in if it'll make you happy

When you say, "crappy clock", do you mean that you've had problems with your's, or you just don't like the way it looks?

Default crappy clock

I'm an xb wannabe

the clock just looks ... bad bad color bad typeface looks like a free giveaway watch at best

do i have to put batteries in the clock too?javascript:emoticon('')

i'm sure they tell the time ok but with all the mods regarding appearance the clock and the speedometer are about all I'll ever see while driving it. Why not have the clock in the radio like so many other cars.

I don't always want to know what time it is, guess i can get black tape

it would look just as "crappy" on the radio wouldnt it. teh radio display is lcd too, same typeface, font, whatever. everything but the speedo lights up that orange color unless you opt for the high-end radio, but even then the HVAC stuff is orange and everything else. unless you can find some fancy liquid crystal display thats cheap and easy and VERY effective that somehow you can change your font like microsoft word or something i wouldnt worry about the clock. its toyota. that same 'cheesey' clock is probably shared with lexus

Default the clock is too small, too far away

I adore my xB!

The only fault I've found has been the tiny clock/odometer. It would be much better on the over-rated stereo. I'd rather have had the clock put there instead of my useless "SAT" button.

It's not so much that the display is small...it's small and far away. That and my bobble head turtles keep blocking it
