Anyone tried out these cathodes:

It seems like they would create a nice effect, but I'm concerned with the brightness. Also, would the light "swirl" too, or can you only see the "liquid" when you look directly at the bulb?

I got all blacklight/UV cathodes in my xB now, but you can't even tell they are there unless I wear my white shoes!! The blacklights might look good with some UV reflective mats or paint, but that ain't really my style.

 

The thing with those is that you have to be able to see the tube to get the full effect, and I'm all about having the light coming from hidden places.

 

yeah.... definitely shouldn't mount it to see the bulb, but if the light you see moved all liquid like, it'd be cool. i think i'll order just one to try it out. i'll post pics or a small vid later if it's worth it
