Looks great for $75. But, you may be happier if you build a box yourself. I would think superjeer's box is a better use of all available space( and also looks incredible). He posted it under "ultimate sub box") You could build one out of 5/8mdf and if you have the right tools(jigsaw, glue, tape measure, drill, screws) you'll have money left over.

never heard of an "extreme" sub. maybe you can find a better sub for $75 too.

good luck

Thanks for the compliment! If I were to sell mine (I thought about making them to sell).. I don't know that I could make mine for a better price (lots of cuts/operations). Mine's for a 8 inch sub. (I just couldn't get enough space under there for a 10.. think about that) It sounds pretty good too!

I don't think anyone could replicate a box like yours (superjeer) and still do it for close to $75 considering the amount of labor involved. I can appreciate the amount of work you put into your box. i'm trying to make a box similar to yours but will house a 10", fire upwards, and extend further towards the front of the seat where it kinda hangs over. Using 5/8mdf.
It's coming along real slowly.
My head is on the verge of exploding trying to make the pieces line up.

However, the cost of materials is under $30-40 as long as you already have the tools. It's real challenging so far but I would encourage others to give it a shot instead of just buying a premade box.

the one i am talking about on ebay looks like good quality ,you said the materials almost cost 50 bucks--for 25 more it's all done by a custom shop--look at the guys site on ebay---dont get me wrong jeers box is great, but even he said it would be hard to make for sale ,for $75.00---peace

i built my box myself.. perfect dimensions to fill my xb trunk enough for a powerful sub, yet leaving enough space for cargo room..yeah, do it yourself.

I looked at the ebay item and am a little leary of a box made 1/2 inch MDF. Most manufactures suggest a min of 5/8 inch MDF, with many of the major players stating 3/4 inch.

yeah, mdf is pretty cheap, wood glue and screws don't really cost that much either. I imagine the selling point for that ebay box is that it is premade and still pretty cheap. Also don't need any tools. I was planning on buying that box a while back but would rather kill time in the garage making my own.
