Dash illumination revision (With Pics)
Wes and I did some experimenting over the weekend with the effects of UV cathode lighting on my white dash. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out as great as I would have liked... BUT we swapped out the UV lighting with 12" LED tubes on the headliner (both driver and passenger side.) Looks much better. Now I don't really need the spiral cathodes beneath the dash speaker grilles. Here are the pics:

I like that look a lot. But I get blinded by the little bit of silver they have on the vent pieces. scary. If I see you coming with the sun to my back I'll know all you're seeing is white fuzzy shapes coming at you.
Thanks guys. There are definitely good things about both cold cathodes and LEDs. I'm finding that LEDs are giving the best results for the vibe I want though. (No diss to cold cathodes... cause they do rock! Yo)
As for the questions...
You can get cold cathodes at most computer/parts stores (online and offline). The diamond plate was purchased at my local OSH. I traced the oem mats and Gabe (aka stylis) cut them out for me @ his shop. The spoiler was brought over from Japan. The company that makes it is: http://www.fabulous.co.jp
