its a flexible piece that sticks to it... so yea, it's a sticker... they sell dashkits everywhere like that... you can just get it somewhere else, sure for cheaper, but then you gotta tack on shipping to it. i had a white kit on my eclipse, just make sure you rub your stuff down with a lot of alcohol before sticking it or it'll come off later. they don't really look right either, cause it pops out from the surface... i'm hoping someone will make actual replacement pieces instead of those stickers. those kinds of kits react to heat, when it's really cold if you hit it on accident with someone hard it'll crack, when it's hot, it feels mushy if you press on it.... maybe they're different now, but thats how they used to be.

EXACTLY! Especially since the plastic in this car comes apart so easily.

I had one of these kits on my CIVIC and they look like they're floating...and they just look fake to me.

actually ive seen this kit in person at exposed. its the scion dealer accesory kit and looks okay. not as bad as the "floating" kits mentioned above. the thing is it covers everything thats silver (which is the best looking plastic in the car) and nothing else. so if you hate the silver trim pieces then this might be the way to go.

it says in link they are overlays... For around the same price you can find a 30-45 piece kit somewhere else- just do a search on google.

if you take a look at my profile you will see how it looks, the only pain its hard to find matching fake CF for the rest of your car....

yes, but by overlay they mean it just sits over the trim, not actual sticker pieces like i was talking about. exotic dashes or some company with a name like that makes the ones i'm talking about that "float" on top. most of the time when you buy these sticker kits they don't even fit right cause the people who cut them got twitchy hands or somethin and a few of the pieces end up not fitting exact.

Thanks everyone for the info. I kinda want to keep some of the silver to keep some color and such. I was thinking about cf down the center and the silver on the sides.

I will keep looking. Thanks for all the help. :D

vinyl sticker, lol... hey, it's what you wanted... you can have silver down the sides and cf in the middle, what more could you ask for? no ones gonna know the difference anyways. just hope that guy cuts his stuff exact.

Try this site. The kit looks hot, and they have a bunch of different choices of color.

those are the ones i was talking about earlier... did that company at least cut every piece correct? i had bad luck with those kits, plus they stick out from the dash, from straight on they look nice, but at angles it gets weird. looks nice though, not too bad of a price. :D
surprised they actually made something for an xa... lol
