Deck in lower DIN slot of xB???

Deck in lower DIN slot of xB???
Ill be putting in a DVD player in the lower din slot of my xB in the next week or so. Now my Q is, do I need a mounting bracket? If so, who makes one? Scoshe? Metra?

Oh, and i guess, how do i remove the OEM deck.

are you talking about the area under the AC controlls? i just recently put mine there and i would just tell you there is ALOT of cutting to do with this. As far as brackets i dont know any at all. I just put a JVC dvd head unit there and will have my screan where the stock radio was. I didnt need any brackets for it to go there it is a little loose but its also tight. I had to cut that back of the din area you are talking about and also some stuff behind that. Good lunk with that.

I've got a screen where my radio was and the dvd player in the same slot your referring too. I decided to leave it to the proffesionals and have it custom fiber glassed in. Will post pics later after work if I remember.

Anyone mind telling me the measurments of the screen to fit perfect in the stock head unit slot? Price range?

^^No no, your right. But, having never taken apart a Scion before since we dont get them in Canada, just wanted to know if i needed to fab up somthing, or, if there was a bracket.
