The unit has video has GPS/Video CAPABILITY, but it doesn't have GPS BUILT IN. You'd need to have a headunit that has GPS BUILT IN it or a standalone GPS system in order to utilize the GPS in the mirror.

In other words, just think of this mirror as an extra monitor, like one you'd put in your headrests. You could route GPS, DVD video, back-up camera, etc., to it...

 

Me likey - too bad I already spent $300 over my rearview mirror budget getting the auto-dimming one.
