Default Dome Light Color Change

I think that I can just get an LED replacement, but not sure where and which one to get. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The dome light is a 31x10mm Festoon base. I also ordered from Superbrights but I think LED replacements in this size are available at Auto Zone or Advance Auto as it's a pretty common changeout today.
Hope this helps.

You take the cover off , pull the old bulb out and put the new LED in. It's pretty straightforward.

The OEM bulb is a Festoon #3021. 31x10mm.
The bulb you suggest is 1mm short. you probably could bend the contact tabs to amke up this small difference but there is a danger of breafing the tab off. If that happens, your dome light probably would need to be replaced . They are available for about $25.00 from aftermarket dealers on the web.
The choice and decision is up to you.

The LED 3021 replacement is available here:
http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm
Among other places.
Regarding Auto Zone, not all stores carry the same inventory.

true, I am not a fan of buying online, mainly because I want the product NOW (ya, I'm an impatient bum) so I perfer to pick it up myself if I can. If not, to the web browser I go. If I can avoid the blue screen of death...

I should also caution you that different color bulbs ( even with the same number of LED's ) throw different amounts of light.
My first attemt was to replace with red which was too dim. The same bulb in white throws an acceptable amount of light.

With red , even with 9 LED , you will have much less light than from the stock bulb.
A cheaper alterntive would be to try ( for a couple of bucks) a red 3021 festoon OEM type bulb. These can be bought at Advance Auto or maybe Pep Boys.
If it's bright enough, you're done. If not you may want to think about a 9 LED white bulb from the above.
Just a suggestion.
