Default Dual Halo Headlights...1 Halo Set is out...

Hello gang.

I have had these twin halo lights installed for about 3-4 months. I noticed maybe 1 month ago that 1 halo set is out. The two inner halos still light up but the two outer rings do not light up on either side anymore. The 3 LED's still do and the signal is fine. I'm not to bothered because at least it is 1 on each side, not 1 complete side so it still looks balanced. Any ideas as to what has gone wrong? The wiring looks fine, mayeb they just crapped out at the same exact time? Sounds weird. I'd hate to have to open them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys!

-Brian

Just bumping this. Wanting to know if it is more than just a loose wire. I hope it is not a burntout LED. Just weird they burnt out the same time.

Does anyone know how or where to get a replacment?

Thanks in advance.

That sucks. Just a thought but if one LED burnt out and they are hooked up in parallel than the rest of the LEDs wont work.

I think it would be too much trouble tryin to replace the LEDs but if you do, get brighter/better ones.

If you told me a month ago I had a set of Dual Halos I trashed since no one wanted them for parts or anything. Good luck with that -Rich

Good luck finding a replacement LED for these headlights. I've talked to all the local auto, electric, and computer shops around, nobody has anything that will fit the halos. I had one burn out around the low beam on the drivers side. I ended up disconnecting the one around the low beam on the passenger side to even it out.
You have to disassemble the whole setup to get the rings and LEDS out. (they never fogged before I took them apart, but now they fog all the time) I bought a set of universal halos off of eBay. My plan is to dissassemble both lights and rewire in the new (hopefully improved) halos this winter.
Sorry for the bad news, but I doubt you'll find replacement LEDs without buying a new set of lights. If you do end up finding a replacement, let me know.

Ok cool, thank you for your replies.

I will get cracking on them this weekend. My friend has a shop so I will just go there the whole weekend and start taking things apart. Hopefully I can put them back together without messing anything else up.
Oh and those pics were taken early evening with some overcast so the lights are a little dim because it isn't dark out, they shine fine at night.

If I figure anything out besides how to break a set of headlights, I'll let you know.

I had ordered a set from K2 motor when they had that sale for $50. I guess I got what I paid for. I hooked mine up without the halos and LEDs for a few days to see if they fogged up first. They did. Now they are sitting in my office/storage room taken apart. All my lights work. I hooked them up to a 9v battery to see if they worked and they all seemed to do fine but one of the halos is loose inside the passenger side light. I'll be setting it back soon and reinstalling. These headlights look amazing and everyone that sees them is impressed but if they knew the hell that these headlights put us through it would be a different story.
