Default DVD and scion tc

Just curious to know how many people have DVD equipment in your scion tC? If you have it, you can post your pic and let everyone see how cool it can be.

Did you install it yourself? If not, what did it run you?

I've wanted a rear-view camera in my tC for a long time. Not to mention navigation.

it's just a nice feature to have

I have not mounted the camera at this time, it's all back home in AZ, I am going to see if a kid who already has one mounted near me, can install mine.

he had his about 1 ft back from the rear bumper in the center and to the left of the exhaust, and he had it running to a switch, however this deck i have i can wire it straight to the unit itself, touch the screen and it's there

next time i see im i'll bother him to take pics and i'll show everyone!

I did want the Eclipse AVN, but I just didn't have the money for it. I auctally bought this deck off an xB owner in Cali

I have the original Eclipse AVN 2454 with back eye camera, DVD player all the gizmo
installed ( upgraded speakers, amps, digital cap, all monster cable+circuit breaker )

actual camera

view from screen, sorry about the bad picture quality but you get the idea

picture of the AVN unit with backeye camera on

Eclipse only makes back eye camera it will go on when you push the on screen button, it will not automatically go on when you shift into reverse, although some modification can be done.

So is the back up camera really useful.......I know there are blind spots but do things really sneak behind you fast enough where you need to look out the rearview back up cam, or is it really for bling? Great feature Ideal............for mini vans I think though

so your camera looks really small. Where did you get it and how much was it? where are you exactly mounting the camera? because I cannot see it from the picture.
