What the crap! I built one of the same boxes and could not come close to 1 ft^3 Not even close. I made several passes and lots of measurements and never got that. I question their numbers.

I don't see why it would not work, but it has no protection. A ported box
might be better.

^^^??? why would a ported box be better?? there's hardly enough room for a sealed box to be within spec for alot of woofers, porting would require more airspace....

i have one, i have a pioneer shallow mounted sub in it, im actually trying to get rid of it.. im looking for 150$ plus shipping, its heavy, but the sub is about a month old.. let me know..

I have a very similar home made version with a 10" L7. It sounds real nice and with a grill it dosen't hinder your space too much.

If you need a sub ^^ might be a good way to go. If not I say E-bay away.

I have had one of these with an eight inch round kicker sub and grill for about a year with no problems.

Nice box what did that cost you??? What I liked about the other box is that I wont need to pull out my woofer every time I haul my drums around.
