The 2005 brochure I got from the dealer mentions that "every 2005 Scion model comes with some secret Easter eggs". I just plugged in the one it explained: "PushMyButton" which replaces the welcome "Scion" screen on the stock radio.

Anybody know of any other Easter eggs?

 

What did the front cover look like on that brochure and where in it did you read this?

 

Cover is a greenish/black with side views of the xB and xA (both black) in the background and a repeated tC (silver) in the middle foreground.

Page 48 talks about the "PushMyButton" Easter egg.

I saw that too. I looked cover to cover for more but I couldnt find anything else.

 

I did several Googles trying to find something out there... found squat.

Wonder how they're defining Easter Egg? The changing the default screen is in the radio manual. Are they just using the term Easter Egg as something thats kinda cool but not listed in the standard option? If so, guess these could be "Easter Eggs" for the tC (some might be true for all models and people who've had their cars long enough probably already know these)

1. When locked and you open your door, it automatically unlocks.
2. Headrest in the rear can be adjusted up, down and angled.
3. You can pull the carpet part off the scion carpeting to have an all rubber mat
4. When you turn off the radio while listening to an mp3, when you turn the radio back on, it will continue where it left off.

 

Hopefully they aren't REAL Easter eggs hidden in some super secret compartment That would get really smelly after a while.
