I Got a AVN 2454 for a great price through a friend. Only problem is he didn't have the AV in/out Harness's. I itried contacting eclipse but they are about as helpful as my friend's girl is with payin the bills . Anyway i tried contacting a Local Eclipse dealer , as was recommended by Eclipse and that got me nowhere really.

I was hoping maybe some of you guys might have a connection with a eclipse dealer who could help. I love the setup in my tC, but no AV in/out means no sirius(via direct hookup) or PS2/XBOX, It's harness 6p for the AV in and the AV OUT isn't labeled, just has the out for the front/rear/sub and video rca's. Thanks peeps!

I was under the impression with that unit that you dont need a harness.... it will plug directly into the stock one. Have you tried this?

I got the HU for cheap and ASSumed that all the cables where with it, HU works fine, plugs in to factory harness's BUT no Video Input Interconnector cable/harness and no Front, Rear Non fader Cable harness. Which are essentially your AV in/out cables, which plug in the back of the AVN 2454 via Harness's

I tried contacting Eclipse but they don't favor selling replacement parts. Think they believe I stole it, which is funny considering I have a box all orginal packaging, Minus the Harness's i need , and the Original matching warranty card with serials. How many car stereo thieves can do that .

 

Well one did you know this before purchasing. I guess you did thus the great price on it. I don't see why Eclipse wouldn't help with this. Other than that you may have to hardwire it which I am assuming would be a mega-biotch to do.

 

Id check with your local eclipse dealer and see if they can get you one. Might be easier than dealing with eclipse direct.
