Eclipse's warranty isn't valid unless it's bought at and installed by an authorized dealer. If you did buy it from a dealer, then I would suggest you take it back to them and pay their undoubtedly astronomical installation fee, just for the peace of mind. If not, then I'd say it's only worth the money if the shop charges you $50 or less.

It's a really easy install. If you do it right it looks stock and the door still closes

well i bought it off an authorized dealer....crutchfield.com but i have to find an authorized dealer in the area to install it. i have no problems tackling it bc its not that difficult of an install from what i understand. i do know that there r some mods to the bracket that need to be done and i would like some instructions to help me along with that.

Default The install

Ok I have the same radio. If you put on the Toyota brackets on the radio and put in the dash as is the door on will not close. To fix it you need to drill the holes out, move them back. That is toward the front of the car so the radion sets further back in the dash

no offense, but if you are asking how to pull the dash trim up, you should not be doing the install and should be taking it to someone else.

Edit: look in the tech section, there's got to be a guide there for it.

as for the brackets, he means the stock brackets that you unscrew from the stock radio. The best thing to do when mounting the brackets is to grind down the 4 inner "nipples" flat, then drill out the 2 forward "dips" on each bracket and use those for mounting holes.
