Default Error 3, disc 6

Anyone ever figure a way to get the disc out of the head unit?

I just got the Error 3, disc 6.

Do they have to replace the head unit, or do they just disassemble it?

Ive got the 7 year warranty....so it should be replaced under that one for FREE...right???

Anyone??

Default Error 3 Disc 6

I am now on my 3rd head unit. Mine is only the single cd unit. This new one has had problems since day 1. When installing a disc, it will search and search and search and will pop up an error 3. I can then eject the disk and try again. It will usually play then, till it comes back to track 1. Or if I back it up to track 1. Error 3. My last units had the problem of not wanting to eject the CD's. I would have to play with the power and eject buttons before I could finally get it to reject. The disc would be very warm to the touch when this happened. I also have the extended warranty, but was told that if the problem hadn't been addressed before the 36k warranty ran out, that it would have been harder to get resolved. I am now at 45k.
