thats not bad ill get in contact with you soon. Another question, is there any way to get rid of those black spots on the side of the dash? I know its where you cover up the edge of the cf, i just didnt know if you could get away without it.

 

sorry for the delay in the reply, some dashes will have less black paint, it all depends on how the fabric behaves. Chris should have pictures of his, it came out wih less black paint.

i know this would be pointless. but could you make a model that had a functional airbag. Like a spot that was cut out just for that purpose.

 

We actually thought of doing something like that... and the idea that we came up with, was to have a sepparate piece of carbon, and just have a small layer of resin. The only thing I believe is that 2 things could happen, it will crack with time, or if the airbag ever deploys it would prob make the entire dashboard brake or proyectile.... and that my friend is a liablity that I dont want to take... so I rather put the disclaimer that for tC it is for strickly show... and you would have to disable the passenger airbag.

 

Wow Mike that tC dash is def just as sick as the xB dash, is that a cf glvoe box for the xB as well! hah sweet You guys always amaze me with your work
