basically your going to have to take the headliner down. Then secure a piece of plywood to the rails running across, put the headliner back on, and then screw the flipdown to the wood

Sometimes you can get lucky and if your flipdown is small/light enough, you can use the existing dome light screwholes.

Dome light has acc power so you could use that since the dropdowns dont typically use a lot of power. I would be using a relay switched power from my dvd unit so the screen turns on when the dvd turns on, not the car.

okay then I have an off-topic question: I am installing two visor monitors tomorrow, and I need to power them. The power wires look like they will reach down into the dash, and I wanna tap into something there. I probably shouldn't tap into the cigarette lighter, since my LEDs are tapped into that, right? Any other tapping suggestions?

those monitors only pull about 1 amp together, check the box for exact.. your acc circuit is 15 amps. Your cathodes probably use 1 amp for all of em.
