finally got all this crap done. a/b/c pillars painted,more paint coming. also did the dome and grab handles. 11" monitors in and lookin sexy (thats right 11"...)

 

How do you like the innovateks so far? I've been seeing alot of those turning up recently and am wondering on quality. They look real good and so does the paint job, nice.

 

What a waste of $$$!...J/K...can you tell I'm jealous...

 

well, theses are not the top of the line LCDs that other people may offer, BUT they were an amazing value. both units have a remote and feel solid. They were perfect for me since the whole point was to show off in traffic--i rarely have peeps in the back seat.

wow, i love it!!! i have all the trimmin painted inside but not the oh **** handles, dome lamps or pillars. I fink i'll be doin it soon.

 

Are those monitors 16:9 or 4:3?

Their website says 16:9 but they look more like 4:3 in your pics?

 

lol, they are def 4:3. but i think they have a widescreen (16:9) option.let me look into it and get back w/ more info.

I just finished pillar paint myself. Then I dyed the headliner. You gotta do that next.

Yea, everything's sitting in the basement right now... I'm hoping to put everything back in on Monday.

But yea, I had the grab handles and sunvisors done already, so I did the pillars, rearview, headliner, all the clips and the front seatbelt covers.

I'm trying to figure out how to do the seatbelts though. Since I don't wanna remove the whole thing... I might try to do them with a brush.

Looks good. what kinda paint did you use to paint the handles. Im tyring to find something that will go with black suede interior. something like in flat black

 

i would have em sprayed it want want a flat finish to last. i used appliance enamel, it has a decent gloss & is strong as ***** (dont tell anyone but i painted my side mirrors with the same stuff and there holding up great )

my HU is a JVC Exad kw-avx706, which i love. no navigation but it was the right price for the features i needed. ebay is ur friend 813

 

well i looks like they make some widescreen ones but i think they are smaller. i dont see a widesceen playback option in the monitors menu yet. i still think there may be one buried in there somewhere.
