Front 60/40 Bench Seats in xB?

'm not hating on bench seat conversions up front. It could be cool if done right. I just think they take a lot more work than people on here are willing to put in. The bB front seat is probably quite nice, but that car has a column shifter and no center e-brake. You can't do this project in a weekend with your wal-mart tool set and an online DIY.
That seat has a few problems that should be evident to anyone who has actually taken the back seat out.
First, what's going on with the airbag sensors? The front seat has pressure sensors to gauge whether or not to deploy the airbags. They need to be fabbed into the new seats for safety.
Second, how does the seat back stay up without locking into the loop in the back?
Third, how is the front of the seat staying up? The back seat sits on the floor of the car above the fuel tank. Furthermore, it's all foam on the bottom. How is that staying up, and is it safe?
Fourth, what are the seatbelt anchors bolted to?
A chevy/ford/whatever front seat could be awesome if you did everything in matching leather. I just don't see the point of putting uncomfortable seats in place of comfortable ones.
I'm all about good custom work. This is not good custom work.

The seat is a full function seat that seats 3. So the seat belts anchor bolts are all addressed as well.
But like you and I, we dont know the full details on how the conversion was made. We are all jumping to conclusion on a custom job done by a simple picture that was 2months old and not complete. Which is completely wrong. Thats what the problem is with a lot of users on forums. Always quick to judge the work someone has done without finding out the details so how do you know its not good custom work?
Does anyone on here know if its confortable or not?
Do you know if they added more padding?
Do you know if they reclined it more then the standard position?
Exactly you don't and neither does anyone on the forum unless it's the builder.
So I just ask before people start bashing on ones job, not even this one, anyone in particular, find out how it was done FIRST before you start jumping to conclusions.

Just my 2 cents.
