Default Fuse Size i Should Use For add a circuit and Cold Cath's

Hey i just got a pair of cold cathode tubes from svc....got it all wired and mounted, but wondering what fuse i should use for the accessorie on the piggy back and also what fuse i should lead the piggy back(add a circuit) from.....5, 7.5, 10 ???? someone help i dont want to blow something

I just ran a wire off my battery through the firewall. 5 amps is more than enough for just 2 cold cathodes, i put 15 on a 5 amp fuse before it blew (took the housing with it)

I installed two cold cathodes in my engine compartment and am using a 3 amp fuse w/ no problems.
