Gas gauge stuck on empty. HELLPP!!!
So a couple of weeks ago I filled up my tank and was driving down when about 1/2 a mile down the road the gauge started to slowly go down and down and down until it finally hit the E. I got nervous so I turned around quickly and added more gas, except it wouldn't take it because it was full. Thought I had a leak...nada! So now, every time I fill the gas up the gauge does not move... I need serious help on this, I've checked fuses and such, nothing. In the 6 years that I've had my trusty lil box, this has never happened. Oh yeah, also, 3 lights came on that won't go off, the TRAC OFF, CHECK ENGINE, and VSC. A mechanic said it may have been a glitch or something and reset, they went off but came on 2 days later. All/any help is appreciated! (sorry if this is in the wrong topic area, it's been awhile since I've been on here.)
dude i have had this problem as well and i came to learn that it was my Radiator that needed to be filled because the car was getting hot and a censor was out. It was the " Thermal Cylinder Sensor " or something to that nature. It was located near my drivers side tire near the fender well. Hope this helps you out a little bit .
