gas light?
when or should the gas light come on? i think i may have a problem with mine, and "warranty" is out of the question, im thinking like a 1/4 tank to slightly below that is when it should.
I know on Cavaliers, it was set to come on at 15% fuel trim (15% remaining 15.4G tank @ 2.5G). I know my box is WAAAAAY higher than that. When the light comes on I stop and fill and it never takes more than 10 gallons, usually around 9.5. Tank in a box is 12.9 gallons I believe.
i run my down all the time, when it is just above the E line, it will turn on. You should have about 2 gallons left in the tank, when it actually dips below thw E line, then you should put it in neutral and push
lol, yeah ive driven it way past 'e' until it started sputtering and then i put some gas in it, but where does your needle point when the light first comes on so i can move my needle to that location?
same here, just thaught it might be important to get it close so i dont run to low on the go juice, and give me a few more days and ill post pics of why i cant take it for warranty claims, its been some work but i think it will be worth it, so far i havent seen it done yet so hopefully ill be the first, but you never know
i can run about 50-75 miles after my gas light comes on before i start to run out. gas light comes on pretty early. great if your on a long roadtrip and next gas station is in 20 miles
My cavalier ran out 2x and the light NEVER came on. I know it "worked" because it would light up at startup.
duck... not sure why I had always thought it was 12,9. Oh well, that makes a little more sense... but I still have about 2.5 gallons when the light comes on. commute to work is only 20 miles... leaving me 50-60 miles to spare.
