Default Gauge install question

hey all im installing a boost gauge and afr gauge but would like to know how anyone tapped to get power to the gauges? also from what i understand i can tap the break booster hose for the boost gauge right? what size t would be used for it? id like to go for installing these tmrw much thanks

boost gauge is pointless because youre never producing boost.


vacuum however, you are constantly producing. if you install the boost guage, it will only read negative Hg levels upto 20-25.

I used a 1/4 t-split (or possibly a 1/8, cant remember) tapped into the brake booster hose as close to the throttle body as possible.

as far as wiring, i have glowshift phantom gauges so i tapped the wires into the accessory near the h/u

How do you know the OP is not running a supercharger or a turbo?

he is correct i am running a greddy supercharger. can i tap more than one gauge into the accessory wire on the head unit?

perhaps that should have been specified... it seemed like he just wanted a boost gauge on an NA car. in either case, the question was answered.


and yes, you can tap all 3 gauges into the accessory wire.
