Default Gauge pods

I was wondering if anyone knows where to get this gauge pod at. Also, if it comes in carbon fiber

well if anyone has any other ideas for good gauge pods, i'd love to hear'em. I was thinking about keeping it simple and doing the A- Pillar gauges, but i just wanted to see what else was out there.

placement of the gauges won't be a problem, but connecting it to the right sensors is somethin' I have no clue..

Same as any other gauge. Most wire to +12V (usually accessory power), vehicle ground, dash light and signal. Except for the voltmeter, which has no signal wire, and the air-fuel gauge, which has no dash light (dimmer) wire.

I'm using the Cyberdyne LED gauges myself -- good value for money. Believe it or not, the manufacturer has no Web site but Jeg's and J.C. Whitney both have photos and limited specs.

Sad to say it seems we have to install and wire up most of the sensors ourselves, except for the O2 sensor and possibly the speed sensor and tach wire. The water temperature sensor is wired into the ECU and I don't think there's any way to share it -- and the oil pressure sensor is a simple pressure switch.

IMO the A-pillar is massive enough as it is, and a gauge pod will seriously cut into your field of vision.

If you replace the stock sound system with a single-DIN head unit you'll have space for a DIN gauge panel. I've seen pics of a really nice one from Omori but I haven't found a source for it yet. That'll be my second choice if I don't have the guts to attack the dash with a 2" hole saw and mount the gauges next to the speedo.

The gauge pod on Racing Zone's xB is nice... I saw it today at their store on Semoran (in Orlando).

Here's a pic of the xB at Tuner Bash.

I didn't have my PDA or my digital camera with me when I went to the store, so I couldn't take any pics. It's white and looks very professional. It had 3 gauges and connected to the speedometer through a bezel. The xB also had a Apexi boost controller or fuel computer mounted behind the steering wheel. It was molded nicely. Also, I think it had a TL-Factory Fabulous kit!

Default gauge pod

Hello,
Here is a gauge pod you might be interested in. It is by Auto Tech Interiors called the ePod. The pod holds 2 gauges either 52mm or 60mm. The gauge pod swivel, tilts and rotates. Here is a couple of pictures. If you are interested you can visit the website. There is also a post in the commerce section that we are offering a discount at 15% off for this item. Please feel free to take a look at that also. Have a great day!!

I may as well tack on a question here. I just installed gauges in my xb, water temp, volt, and oil pressure. I used the A-pillar pod from Scionsport.com. I posted a pic elsewhere in this forum.
Anyway, I have a question for any and all of you who have installed an oil pressure gauge. What is your oil pressure running?? Mine is running 20psi at idle and immediately jumps to 80 to 90 above 1500 rpm. This is at normal operating temp, which my water temp says is 195 F.
Now, I am using the oil filter adapter to attach the sender unit. It also came from Scionsport and was pretty easy to install. Has four outlets for various gauges!! Cannot possibly see how you could use all four. lol!
BTW, The A-pillar mount does not restrict your view in any way. I origionally was going to punch holes in the dash but chickened out at the last minute! Ha.

You're not being specific enough. How much PSI say at 2,000RPM, 3,000RPM, 6,000RPM... need more exact numbers...
