Getting 2 12" subs, need advice

uhhhhh, i'm not even going to get involved with this whole arguement, but.... i've got 1 IDMAX 12" v.3 in 2.5^ft tuned @ 28hz taking 1000 watts and i turn it up and never even stresses. the only thing that would kill a sub underpowering is if it was a ____ty sub hooked up to a ____ty amp that put out more distortion than power....
