Getting to the oven light
So I am sure this has been addressed before, but how do I get to the light inside the oven on my '06 xA? And, if anyone knows, what size light is it? I'm looking to go blue with all of my lights.... and although I may go LED in the oven, I wouldnt mind finding an actual light for it too.
Thanks in advance!

Easieset way to get to it is to pull the "oven" out. You have to pull the two silver trim pieces off and the oven comes out with four screws. It'll be obvious when you get the silver trim pieces off.

Thanks for linking for him, Maxi. I was at work and didn't have time to search for him.
I just use my hands to pull my silver trim pieces. You can usually get them started down at the very bottom with your hands.
I have a question and it's been brought up before...I know you can get your oven light to turn on whenever your headlights are on. I know the power source for the dash lights are under the e-brake/console...but how would I connect the oven light to there so the oven can turn on with the headlights? Wht's needed to connect both? Sorry if this may be an obvious question but i'm confused as to how it can be "connected"?
Oh, that's what the oven is - that little cubby hole. I have never been in an xA.... it does look kind of like an oven huh? I wonder if you can cook stuff in there if you modded it... like an easy bake. That would rock!
Thanks for the help, everyone! I'll be doing the mod this coming weekend, blue LED's and having them powered with my lights like my LED cupholders, but with an on/off switch on the oven. If I come up with any groundbreaking ideas I'll make a write-up on it.
