Default gps/monitor

http://www.cnet.com/4520-10602_1-5618790-1.html

I sort of like it but it does not have a monitor capability I believe.

Im looking for a gps/monitor so I can still hook up my mac mini and just switch from video 1 to gps or something. I don't need a cd player in the gps system as the mac mini has dvd and cd. I also don't need wireless as my car would have speakers.

Since you already have a Mac mini you have almost all you need. Go here:

http://www.mp3car.com

You can get a VGA touchscreen that connects to the Mac and you can buy some NAV software/GPS antenna.

http://www.cybertheater.com/sanyo/sa..._portable_dvd/

The above website lists the specs, and it does have a video in, but not monitor in. Does the Mac Mini have S-Video or Composite output by any chance?

Is this a computer in its self or a gps/monitor.

Because I will already have a computer. aka the mac mini.
All I am looking for is a monitor gps with voice and thats pretty much it. and possibly dvi out vs vga. Ican't tell on the web site. Its not really detailed.

Don't get this screen/gps! I've only heard negative reviews of it from people that have gotten it. You should do a search on Amazon at least to read people's opinions... bad bad bad...

You have a mac mini? then get a USB GPS mouse puck, a copy of route66 and off you go, use your mac mini for everything - this is my next install, full mac mini system, including some how attaching the steering wheel controls to the mac.
