i like PIAA and sylvania much better than the cheap imitation blue coated bulbs you can buy online or at performance shops. i have used them both and they last a long time. they are bright and look good. the sylvania silverstar shines very white and i have them installed in my scion right now. i'm very happy with them.

I'm rocking some J Spec R hyperwhites on my xA, only got them for $16. I know its not a good brand, but they work just fine for me. If i could choose any brand my choice though would be Raybrig.

I used to not care about brand and would buy the cheapie H4s for my Civic.... I had a couple of friends that dropped the $$ for PIAA and I laughed at them.

But I stopped laughing when I had to keep replacing my burned out bulbs every few months. They went for over a YEAR without a burnout... stupid PIAAs. They made me look bad.

how do you like your bulbs? What color light does it emit in low and high beam? I was thinking of getting those because I heard it emits a puple-ish white color.

I use PIAA's very often, most of the time, I buy the PIAA yellows. They work great!! I think they are lot brighter than those colored with blue or purple, especially in rain, snow or fog. Though I never drove in snow, but it really came in handy when I was driving through rain & snow, color it emmits won't get absorbed by wet road, so it will illuminate in yellowish, and in fog, it won't disrupt your view by reclectiong on fog so I have those installed in my xB's FOG light. Rain season just started, I would highly reccomend PIAA yellow bulbs to anyone who is looking for more performance out of bulbs rather then just looks.
