Headunit Removal for Automatic
I've seen the removal for the manual but they all say that they're not sure for auto please can someone reassure me about the removal cause I'm not trying to destroy anything.
Even easier for an auto...
First, pull on each side of the handbrake shift area plastic and it will pull up and right over the shift ****. The cig lighter will follow with it, so don't pull the wires.
Make sure the ebrake is on, then I usually put the car in neutral to remove the center portion which covers the head unit. It will come off not doing this, but you might scratch it up hitting the shift **** while in park.
Pretty much the same thing as the manual. Don't worry about breaking anything, these things just snap apart and push together.
