Default Help! AC autotechnic

i received my AC autotechnic gauge today and i tried to install it. its teh face gauge.

well i ran into a problem. i didnt understand some of the intructions since i have no idea what i was doing anyway. can anyone help?

i got stuck on...

9. connect the 4 black quick-release fittings from the gauge panels to the suipplied black inverter

10. connect the black wire (-) to a ground location and conncet the red wire (+) to the parking light switch.

step 9 i kinda get but 10... i dont know where the parking light switch is. apparently its suppose to power it but i dont know where it is. and do i have to splice it?
does anyone know? thanks!

For the "red wire (+)" you need to test the wires for your parking light switch which would be **** on the left side of the steering wheel. Take a multimeter and test suspicious looking wires until one changes from 0 to 12 volts when you turn the light switch. I would probably trace the group of wires that comes down from the steering column/wheel and splice into that specific wire at a point where it is convenient. You can run the wire as long as you want but if you want it to look clean you'll have to plan where you want to splice the wire. This is very generic help but I'm tired and this is all i'm going to type. Haha, good luck

isnt there labels are something? man... ill probably take it somewhere to get it done if i gotta test every single wire. i wish the instructions specified which one. anyone else got a clue?
