Help!!!!!! crossover location for componets
Ok Guys..... One more time I am right in the middle of all this mess. Doors are off and all speakers are ready to be installed. I need to find a place for this crossover Anyone???? Looks like it's going to be a long night
Ok.... that's sounds like a idea. I just called it quit's for tonight. So much work to do I just finished getting every thing out of the box. Now with your crossovers under the seat I can see how you get the wires up to the tweeter, but how do you get the wires to the 6 1/2????? Thanks!!!!!
Did you decide to put the tweeters in the dash, if so put the crossover in the dash under the tweeters, and run the wire to the mid drivers either thru the factory gromet or find the factory wires in the kicks and cut them and attach them to the wires going to the crossover. Nothing to hard or to get frustrated over. As for wanting the crossover as close as possible, i have seen crossovers 10 feet away in comp cars so really dont know if it makes that big a difference.
I guess My next post should read something like this....... "How to save money on Audio Install"
First you remove all panels, then remove all speakers, then remove both front seats. Then put on driver front seat and throw all audio gear in Box and go down to your local Audio Shop and ask for the "I can't finish it Deal".....
For $150.00 I got both amps installed front componets and rear speakers installed and ran my wires back for my sub.
What a mess!!!! I did get to make thoses wood speakers spacers that also saved me $$$$ and my shop time which would cost me more money
