Help with an MTX Thunderform w/AMP built in
Although I own a Scion, this has to do with my TransAm.. Hopefully someone can help me.
I have an older MTX Thunderform 10in that has the amp built into it. Its been doing weird things lately. It seems as if one of the channels on the amp has blown. I'll try to explain it the best I can.
It has R and L line level inputs. If you only have the L or the R hooked with, without the other channel, the sub is quieter. Well, it sounds like one of the channels isnt working.. I checked both L and R channel coming out of the head unit and they are both putting out signals..
Now, the amp, if I get above a certain volume, it'll play for about a second, make a pop and it sounds like the amp resets. At low volumes out of the head unit, it'll stay on but obviously lacks volume..
Any ideas??
