Thanks for the info man. So just one of those will be plenty power for my 2 subs but will it be too much? One of the reviews i read was talking about blowing the subs that are step up from those?

Also will the stock HU be fine for this setup? I know its alot of work to wire but i was just gonna get it installed somewhere anyway.

You're gonna need a line out adapter to hook up an amp to the stock head unit. It's always better to have more than enough power for your subs, then not enough power. Just turn the gains down on the amp and you'll be fine. The amp is 1 ohm stable so if you get 2 dual 4 ohm voice coil subs, then you'll be at 2 ohms. With the Brutus 1000 you'll be getting about 700 watts of power for your subs. Give or take 100 or so watts.

Alot of people will tell you different things about which headunit to buy. I would get the headunit with the most features for the amount of money you want to spend. I won't recommend a headunit to you. I'm using a Clarion VRX935 in dash 7 inch touch screen dvd player and I love it.

I have three Arc Audio 10 inch subs in my xB. You can only see the one in the Audioformz enclosure in the rear. Most think I'm getting all of my bass out of one 10 inch woofer.  The other two are under the front seats in individual enclosures.

Back to the $700. I would go w/ the suspension mods first, ie springs and sway bar.

Well that was the original plan but the parents see that as a performance mod and the don't want their kid going fast and stuff. So this system is much more accepted. plus they might give me a bit of money to work with as well.

Munch would the subs you have (lookin at em now) get enuff power from one Brutus 1000 amp?
