Hey guys..i just put in a kenwood kvt815 in dash tonite..the screen was working fine but then all of a sudden it went out..do you think a wire is loose? i can get the power to come back for a quick sec but then it goes off again..audio works fine..ne1?

do u guys think the ground for the safty feature wasnt hooked up right cus i kno for it to work while driving it has to be grounded...i kno it disables dvds playing but i cant even see the fm controls

 

check for fuses

 

ahhh took it back and it still dont work..it might work for 10 min..then screen goes blank

 

well guys i got it checked out and the wires are fine..they r thinking it might be something with the headunit..they said the wire inside the unit might have disconencted..can ne1 validate this?

 

How can it be a fuse??? He said it goes on then it goes out! If it were a fuse it wouldn't go on at all I say you paid good $$$s, go have em put in a new unit. Tell em' "TRY AGAIN"
