HI everyone, i got an AVN 5425 and i dont know how to remove the wire from the handbreak coz i cant use it as half hte buttons are disabled when the hand break is down, what should i do? please let me know! also what do you do to cover up hte sides? i have a lil bit of empty space around the sides!!

i assume by 5425 u mean 5435

Just ground that wire. I just installed one today, nd that is what I did. Worked perfect.
