Default help with stock deck and sirius..please

ok i want to see pics of the back of the stock single disk stereo in our xb...i want to know if i can hook up a wire to run my sirius starmate and be able to push the sat button on our stereo..i know my sat can use a direct wire ..its an aux wire to go directly to the deck but know if our stock deck has this plug??any one know??im just not happy with the sound of the fm transmitter to a fm sattion and would like a direct aux source to get rid of all the static and interferance..i was also told that you can use a aux that uses the cd changer contrtols but not sure of this??any help....

You will need an auxiliary input converter for newer Toyota autos http://www.logjamelectronics.com/toyauxdmxv2.html. Then, I think you will need to get the Starmate home kit so it can be hooked to your headunit using that special rca cable that comes with it. I also plan on doing this soon to replace my XM unit. That replay feature is too cool, plus Howard is coming!

Check this thread here:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...us+stock+radio

If that doesn't answer your questions, do a search for "sirius stock radio" and you'll find a ton of relevant threads.

I'm going to lock this one since there's so many.
